Timing Belt Replacement
Remove timing covers, remove old belt. Examine condition of tensioners and idler assemblies.
Check condition of oil seals.
Renew and adjust Timing belt and verify correct ignition timing and refit timing covers.
Note because this is a fairly labour intensive job whilst the engine is dismantled we recommend the replacement of all tensioners, seals and the water pump. We believe this action is more cost effective in the long term. It also minimises the possibility of severe engine damage if these component failure at a later date and reduces costly doubling up of work.
